In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Sage Homes Northwest wanted to reach out to make you aware of how we are handling this situation internally. As I am sure you are factoring in your business, the most important thing that we can do in these trying times is make sure that our teams, our customers, and our partners are and remain healthy and safe.
Please keep in mind that our website is fully equipped to make shopping online for your new Sage Homes modern lifestyle easy. With photos, videos, matterports and more, we welcome you to tour our website, find the location you desire and make virtual appointments with our Sales Managers. Once you have found the new home of your dreams, we can accommodate you and you can sign your new home contracts virtually. It is that easy!
With visits to our sales centers and model homes, please understand that we will greet you with a smile instead of a handshake and we will be maintaining at least 6 feet distance during your visit. Please adhere to these rules for your visits to our model homes and to our office:
Please do not enter if you are anyone in your home has been sick or diagnosed with COVID-19
Please do not enter if you have been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19
Please do not enter if you have a fever, a dry cough, or difficulty breathing
Only necessary individuals to enter, please (if you have others with you who are not essential for viewing, please limit to essential personnel)
If it is not essential for children to see the model homes, please do not bring them, if possible
We have instructed our office staff to work from home, and would like to encourage that all meetings internally and externally be scheduled over video or phone conference as much as possible. If you must meet a staff member at the office, we want to reassure you that we have taken extra measures to have the office cleaned and wiped down everyday for health concerns.
With our field team, we intend to continue normal operations as long as we are allowed; to include maintaining regular model hours. Additionally, due to concerns expressed by customers, trade partners, and employees, we are suspending all non-critical warranty work until further notice.
In regards to any work at Sage Homes Northwest communities in your area, we would like to inform you: Leaving incomplete framing is a safety hazard and will lead to the ‘spoliation’ mentioned in the memo from Governor Jay Inslee. Untreated and uncovered lumber will remain wet; leading to mildew, molt and rot. Builders are also concerned with theft of materials staged onsite and not promptly installed. Our plan, here at Sage Homes Northwest, is to get our buildings to a stage consistent with the memo and then pause until the stay home order has lifted.
We understand any discomfort and apologize for any noise or concern caused by current new construction. Please understand, we are interested that any impact is over as quickly as possible. Please refer to this guidance memo issued by the Governor Jay Inslee for more information.
While there are a lot of unknowns, one thing that we do know is that we will weather this storm and that we look forward to working together with you for years to come.
