Fantastic Ferndale! Ferndale is the perfect example of a beautiful place to live nestled in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest. Ferndale proper has a population of just under 15,000, with the population totaling 30,000 including unincorporated Ferndale.  The City of Ferndale was originally established by the agriculture, timber and dairy industries. The growth of a strong economy has evolved Ferndale and it now boasts many large career employers consisting of education, health care, industrial and manufacturing facilities.

This City has so much to offer! Historic downtown is absolutely charming as well as full of locally owned retail stores, restaurants, and retails trades. The City offers ample services, public transit, a public library and bustling community center. Other activities include, access to fishing, boating, bird watching, walks on the beach, camping, hunting, skiing, golfing as well as access to public and historical parks. There is a convenient modern regional Airport in just a few minutes’ drive, and a Major International Airport within an hour’s drive. With all of these the dynamic amenities and activities, it is easy to see why Ferndale is a place people want to call home.
